Government Urged to Reinstate House Financing Schemes for Economic Boost

KARACHI: Leading real estate mogul, Syed Afzal Hameed of Shangrila City, has called on the government to reinitiate house financing schemes in partnership with commercial banks to support the public in acquiring and creating homes, thereby revitalizing economic processes nationwide. This appeal was made at an esteemed gathering of developers and during the inauguration of one-window services for the international housing project at a well-known local hotel.

“The resurrection of affordable house financing schemes is crucial for economic momentum, as real estate drives extensive commercial activity within the construction and its related industries like steel, cement, and more; these sectors flourish by generating taxes and job prospects,” stated Hameed, underscoring real estate’s substantial contribution to GDP.

Despite current trials, Shangrila City persistently presents middle-class-oriented housing solutions, including a distinctive international-themed apartment project, assuring timely procession to allotees. Affordable housing is no longer a mere aspiration but a reality achieved by Aimal Builders, Hameed emphasized.

Additionally, CEO Al Meeraj Marketing, Kashan Siddiqui, highlighted that the triumph of any real estate venture is dependent on its build quality, amenities, and purchaser-friendly payment plans – values championed by Shangrila City’s administration.

The event, witnessing significant attendance from top city developers and dealers, celebrated Shangrila City’s immediate booking successes post-launch, indicating a strong market reception.
