Lahore: Punjab’s Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently conducted a comprehensive review of the Ring Road Southern Loop 3 project. Situated on Maraka Multan Road, this essential 8-kilometer-long infrastructure development underwent meticulous inspection by the CM who issued critical guidelines to accelerate its completion. During his visit, CM Naqvi expressed his confidence that the successful completion of this loop would greatly improve transportation for Lahore’s citizens.
The project is on track for its expected completion by January 31, with the Punjab government committed to meeting this deadline. Acknowledging the effort required for timely execution, CM Naqvi insisted on maintaining high quality standards and instructed the Commissioner of Lahore to work closely with Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) to hasten progress.
Officials from FWO briefed the Chief Minister on ongoing challenges, particularly those caused by adverse weather conditions, such as the extensive dehumidification process, which has led to some delays.
Despite these setbacks, CM Naqvi reassured the public of persistent endeavors to ensure projects are completed as scheduled, with continuous monitoring by provincial ministers and teams to tackle any impediments.
Moreover, CM Naqvi addressed issues with the Central Business District (CBD) project and his engagement in meetings intended to refine the project’s development.
In his interaction with the media, CM Naqvi emphasized the government’s dedication to quality and addressed the significance of the Election Commission’s role in security matters, offering insights on coordinated efforts with the Governor to advise on security, particularly considering recent concerns in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop 3 stands as a testament to the government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructural facilities and showcases the ongoing commitment to elevating living standards through timely and quality-driven projects.
