Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, extended an invitation to UAE investors to consider investing in various sectors in Pakistan, including real estate, energy, agriculture, and information technology. Speaking at the Business Opportunities Conference in Dubai, Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted the immense business prospects available in Pakistan.
He emphasized the Pakistan government’s support for promoting business collaborations between the business communities of Pakistan and UAE. The event, which took place at Habtoor Palace and was attended by over 100 businessmen from both countries, aimed to foster partnerships and explore investment avenues.
Ambassador Tirmizi particularly encouraged UAE investors with expertise in construction to explore the real estate and infrastructure sectors in Pakistan. He acknowledged the role of businessmen in driving economic growth and expressed confidence in their ability to lead economies towards prosperity.
Highlighting the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and UAE, the ambassador praised the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to the development of the UAE. He also commended the visionary leadership of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in shaping Dubai into a thriving commercial center.
At the conference, Dr Abdelrahman Hassan Almuaini, Assistant Undersecretary of the Intellectual Property Sector at the UAE Ministry of Economy, represented the UAE. The event featured insights from prominent figures such as Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Javed Malik, President of the Overseas Pakistanis Business Forum.
With Pakistan’s large and youthful population, Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted the abundant investment opportunities available in various sectors for UAE investors. The event provided a platform for fostering partnerships and exploring avenues for mutual growth and development.
